This Privacy Policy explains what information ridvanbilgin.com collects, why, and how you can control it. The site is operated by Rıdvan Bilgin. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected].

• Comments: your name, email address (never published), and your comment text, plus a hashed — not raw — version of your IP address used to catch spam and duplicate submissions. Comments are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and are moderated before they appear.
• Newsletter signup: your email address, used only to send the post notifications you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Push notifications: if you enable browser notifications, your browser creates a subscription (an endpoint URL and two encryption keys) that we store so we can send you a message when we publish. We do not use a third-party push service — no OneSignal, no PushEngage — the subscription lives only in our own database. A hashed IP address is kept as a record of when consent was given.
• Analytics: aggregated usage data via Google Analytics 4, active only after you consent — see our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising on this site at this time.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) — traffic measurement, active only with consent.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and bot protection (Turnstile). Requests pass through Cloudflare's network, which processes standard connection data under its own privacy policy.
• Browser push services (Google FCM, Mozilla, Apple) — deliver push messages to your specific browser once you subscribe. This is a standard part of how the Web Push protocol works, not a marketing platform.

We keep comment, newsletter, and push-subscription records for as long as they stay active, plus a reasonable period for spam prevention and record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see below.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent for analytics or notifications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] — we'll respond as quickly as we can.

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
